99 Lives
Description: Step-by-step way to get 99 lives.
How to Steps:
1.) - On the 1st stage, get to the stage's mini-boss, die, and lose one continue. This will start you back off in the middle of the stage.
2.) - Perform the "The Konami Code" Cheat here on this cheat page.
3.) - Get back to the mini-boss and kill him. Now, work your way to the stage's final boss.
4.) - Kill the sniper enemy above the boss, and shoot the red center of the boss 49 times.
5.) - From here, die until you have "00" lives left.
6.) - Stand in front of the red center of the boss, shoot at it (for the 50th hit) and press start immediately after (practically simultaneously).
7.) - Perform the "The Konami Code" one more time.
If this is done right you will have 99 lives!

New Armor Colors
Description: If you have any unlockable characters and want them to have different armor colors than their default settings.
How to: On the character select screen, double-tab X, up, or down. This will change the character's armor colors. Then you can press A to select the armor color you want. This works on unlockable characters only.
Nobuya Nakazato Interview
If you want to hear an interview from series producer Nobuya Nakazato, fulfill at least sixteen challenges in Challenge Mode.
Contra (NES) Increased Difficulty
Description: Unlock a harder version of Contra (NES)
How to unlock: Beat the game once. This is identical to how a harder version of the original NES title was unlocked.
Probotector
How to unlock: clear at least twelve challenges in Challenge Mode.
Contra (NES)
Description: Unlock the original NES Contra title
How to unlock: Complete at least four challenges in Challenge Mode.
Challenge Mode
How to unlock: Beat the game on any difficulty level to unlock a new mode called Challenge Mode.
Super C (NES)
How to unlock the original NES Super C title: Complete at least 8 challenges in Challenge Mode.
The Konami Code
Description: The classic Konami Code works in this game!
How to: Instead of using it at the game intro, however, you'll want to use it after pausing your game. Using it will give you the best version of certain weapons.
In case you've forgotten the Konami Code (or never knew it), it's the following: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start.
